My Story - Freedom Marketing

Since you don't know me I would like to tell you a little of my background. I spent 25 years in Corporate America, mostly in paper distribution sales. In November 1997 my company closed the branch here in Indianapolis. I was told that they had no place to relocate me, so I was downsized after 25 years of loyal service.

Not knowing what to do, I searched for a new career. I met some new friends who introduced me to Network Marketing. I did my due diligence, and then joined The Wealthbuilding Online Team of Retire Quickly, and joined the Lynngroup Team of Young Living Essential Oils.

I have worked closely with my mentors over the last 5 years, learning how to build a Home Based Business. I used the products first with great results, and then launched my own Home Business, and named my new business Freedom Marketing.

I am just an average guy, but with the right instruction given from all of my great upline. I am now becoming successful in my new venture. And you can do the same!

What is Network Marketing

Network Marketing, Multi-level Marketing, and MLM are the same. Today most people prefer using Network Marketing.

Network Marketing can provide you a rewarding career, your own business (without the high cost of a franchise), the possibility of becoming wealthy, the chance to help others, and become active in your community. More importantly, Network Marketing can give you personal freedom and more time to spend with your family. Network Marketing is the most potent business opportunity of the new millennium; in fact, some have said that Network Marketing is the greatest business opportunity in the history of free enterprise. Network Marketing is a way to sell goods or services through distributors (which is often referred to as "consumer direct selling"). These plans usually promise that if you sign up to be a distributor, you will receive commissions - not only on your sales of the plan's goods or services, but also on the sales of the people you recruit to join as distributors. In no way should Network Marketing be confused with pyramid schemes (they are illegal for starters, have a similar structure, but a completely different focus. They concentrate on the commissions you could earn just for recruiting new distributors, and generally ignore the Marketing and selling of products or services.)

In Network Marketing every person is distributing goods or services (in 1996 it was estimated that $80 billion in goods and services moved through Network Marketing channels)...you use the products, recommend them to others, sponsor others, and train them to do what you do. The Network Marketing company you are with compensates you for your efforts. In Network Marketing you earn from your efforts and from the efforts of those you have sponsored. Let me explain, you build YOUR own organization of various levels or generations and if you are more productive than those in your upline, you can make more money than they do. This is probably the most fair arrangement in business today. Contrast that with any corporation or company; I challenge you to find anyone that makes more money than the people at the top!

The main reason Network Marketing companies can pay generous commissions and bonuses is that they don't spend astronomical amounts of money on advertising and therefore turn more revenue into profits. With Network Marketing you get paid for something that you already do all day, every day...most of the time unknowingly. For example, how many times have you recommended a movie, eating establishment, automobile, computer, software or book to someone you know? That is what this is all about...using the products and recommending them to those you know.

Unlike the corporate world, Network Marketing has no glass ceiling, no favoritism, no authoritarian management, no insensitive terminations, and there is no harassment (physical or sexual).

The Harvard Business School states that a Network Marketing company must meet three criteria to be considered a most desirable opportunity: (1) must be at least 18 months old; (2) must have a product which is both unique and highly consumable; and, (3) needs to be a "ground floor" opportunity.

Other important considerations

If you are interested in a rewarding career, your own business, the possibility of becoming wealthy, the chance to help others, and be active in your community then you should look to Network Marketing because "it is the greatest business opportunity in the history of free enterprise." If you are sick of commuting day after day, interested in achieving personal freedom, and spending more time with your family you need to look at Network Marketing. If you hate putting your child in Day-Care you need to look at Network Marketing.

Experts agree that the Information Age will bring hard times to many people. More and more corporations will be downsizing, cutting their work force as they become more efficient at doing more with less people. This process will continue to accelerate and in this era of cutthroat global competition, an employee is expendable...nobody else is looking out for your income and interests. Network Marketing offers freedom, self-direction, and building a livelihood on growing relationships.

Not all Network Marketing companies are created equal!

Always remember the old adage, "If it sounds to good to be true it probably is." So, don't believe the promises of "big profits for a very little or no work", or of "huge incomes in a short time." Nobody gets something for nothing! Network Marketing is simple, but it is NOT easy. It will require dedicated, consistent hard work with a minimal commitment of at least 10 - 15 hours per week. If someone tells you otherwise look the other way.

By all means keep your day job! It takes a year or two to learn the skills you need. Once you have developed the skills and are earning enough income to comfortably support yourself and your family you can then make a decision on doing your business full-time. You can't lose unless you quit!

Before signing with any company, do your due diligence...investigate, ask questions, check with the Better Business Bureau, Direct Selling Association, etc. There are many outstanding Network Marketing companies.

I think our opportunity is among the best. Network Marketing may or may not be for you, but it is absolutely the way of the future. Why am I so sure? Because Network Marketing has the real secret of business success-true leverage. And you can bank on that.
